BIO
Rhune began his career as the lead guitarist in a very bad band that broke up due to a complete lack of talent. Now, he is the video director for the internationally syndicated radio show, “Loveline” with Dr. Drew Pinsky and a six-stringed stand-up with a hilarious hour of geek rock.
This self-proclaimed “white guy with a guitar” bashes pop music and mainstream media with his jaded, original (and surprisingly well-sung) compositions. Add a dash of science fiction and a whole lot of mischief, and you have the recipe for charmingly nerdy musical comedy. Though he works on an advice show, his advice is not “clinical,” “reliable,” or even “worth taking,” but that will never stop him from trying to help an audience through musical comedy and spoken word.

Rhune has appeared as a feature act in comedy clubs across the country, opening for comedian/actor, Kevin Pollak (Casino, The Usual Suspects) among others. His song, “iPhone,” is available as a playable track for the Rock Band video game franchise, and he has published a self-drawn comic book titled, “Anarchy Baby.” His short films and music videos have appeared in festivals around the world including the London Sci-Fi Film Festival and on the front pages of Funny or Die and The Huffington Post. He is available to play colleges, comedy clubs, quinceaneras, and boat christenings, record or write original music and to fill all your musical comedy needs.

PRESS
“Like most people, I’m highly skeptical of prop comics and as Rhune took the stage with his acoustic guitar for a two song set I braced myself for the worst. To my surprise, from the first note to the last, Rhune’s songs were poppy, catchy and hilarious!”
- Jonathon London, Geekscape
“…quick wit, and a gift for playing with a song’s pacing and inflection. Rhune keeps you laughing and pushes himself to the next level.”
- Sax Carr, Crave Online
“Kinda genius, kinda handsome Americana.”
- Comedy Death-Ray
“Rhune Kincaid is a pro at musical comedy. Charming, funny and engaging, his catchy songs will have you laughing while he’s on stage, and you’ll still be humming the tunes as you drive home..”
- Bobbie Oliver, Ice House, StandUp Productions
